Fresh from a strong midweek result, Middlezoy immediately set about their visitors.

Acey Mead, Alfie Cox, and Sully McKenna all came close as the hosts edged the early exchanges and controlled play across the park.

Mitchell Kearley delivered an inviting ball into the box, and skipper Josh Prowse rose highest to head home and give Middlezoy a 1–0 lead.

It did not take long for the hosts to double their advantage.

As he had done in midweek, Prowse stepped up and confidently converted to make it 2–0.

With five minutes of the first half remaining, Mead was involved again, threading a delightful ball through to Kearley.

He drew the goalkeeper before calmly finishing to put Middlezoy 3–0 ahead at the break.

Okehampton came out for the second half determined to establish themselves in the game, but Middlezoy continued in much the same vein as the opening 45 minutes.

Middlezoy then struck for a fourth.

Rhys Hayward released Alfie Cox behind the defence, and Cox produced a clinical finish, making it 4–0.

Three substitutes combined for the fifth goal.

Edward Stephens, returning from injury, skipped past his marker before sliding the ball across to Jack Collins.

He in turn teed up Victor Matsitsiro, who fired past the goalkeeper to complete the scoring at 5–0.
